LLCN received funding from NSF to support two deaf interns to work this summer (2024) on an eye-tracking project investigating the source of the reading efficiency that we observe in deaf readers (by studying CODAs). The position is open to graduate student or a senior undergrad who would like research experience. Applicants are asked to submit a resume, a letter of recommendation from their Ph.D. advisor (for graduate students) or from a faculty member (for undergraduates), and a 1-2 page summary of their research interests and career goals to Dr. Karen Emmorey (kemmorey@sdsu.edu).
