Marzieh Bannazadeh
Marzieh Bannazadeh is a passionate senior at Gallaudet University majoring in Deaf Studies and a minor in Education. She is dedicated to bridging communication gaps and promoting inclusivity. With interests in linguistics, deaf culture, and neuroscience, she aims to create equitable learning environments and contribute to the development of effective teaching methods for diverse learners. As a member of the deaf community, she hopes to foster research to expand her knowledge of cognitive development while learning sign language and multilingualism. Her long-term academic goals include pursuing a master’s degree in Deaf Cultural Studies further to enrich her understanding of deaf culture and community dynamics. Following this, Marzieh aspires to embark on a doctoral journey, focusing on the intersection of educational neuroscience and pedagogy, aiming to contribute to developing more effective teaching methods for diverse learners.
